Thanksgiving is nothing without family and good food! Do you have a picky eater that isn't a fan of traditional Thanksgiving dishes? Here are a few kid-friendly Thanksgiving recipes your picky eaters will love:
Are your kids “sandwich kids”? No worries — any Thanksgiving food can be kid-friendly when made into a sandwich! All you’ll need are some Hawaiian rolls and the food on your dinner table.
Split your Hawaiian roll in half. Cut thin slices of your Thanksgiving turkey and add a few slices to one side of your Hawaiian roll. Use cranberry sauce or mashed potatoes as your “condiment” and top it off with a little dressing. There you have a Thanksgiving turkey sandwich!
For picky eaters who don’t love veggies, green beans are an obvious choice. Most kids will eat green beans! Which is why green bean casserole is a great Thanksgiving dish for kids — and it’s also a classic that the whole family will love. Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
Cream of mushroom
Milk
Soy sauce
Green beans
French’s fried onions
In a casserole dish, combine your cream of mushroom, milk, soy sauce, cooked green beans, and fried onions. Feel free to season with salt and pepper. Stir until mixed well. Bake for 25 minutes, add more fried onions on top, and bake for another 5 minutes.

What kid doesn’t love rice krispy treats? Add a Thanksgiving spin to this classic treat with this recipe. Here’s what you’ll need:
Unsalted butter
Marshmallows
Rice Krispies cereal
Chocolate chips
Hershey Kisses
Candy corn
Decorative icing
After creating your rice crispy mixture, allow it to harden for 30 min. Once hardened, cut into individual servings. Now onto the fun part — creating your candy turkey! Using decorative icing as “glue”, assemble little turkeys on the tops of each rice crispy treat. The candy corn should serve as wings, hershey kisses as the bodies/beaks, and chocolate chips as eyes.
