The Kangaroo Forest offers Creative Curriculum for students 6 weeks to 24 months. Creative Curriculum is instrumental in child development and used extensively by each teacher on a daily basis.  Students are offered developmentally appropriate activities recommended by Creative Curriculum as well as additional activities planned by our knowledgeable staff members.

The Kangaroo Forest offers ABeka Curriculum for students 2 years through private Kindergarten and private First Grade.  ABeka curriculum provides skill building in number concepts, number recognition, letter recognition, phonemic awareness, phonological awareness, social development, and character development.  Teachers also supplement ABeka curriculum with daily activities that build and expand on each key concept.  Additional activities such as art projects and thematic units are incorporated into weekly lesson plans to complete a full academic curriculum.  

The following classes are a part of your child's weekly programs and included in your tuition.

   
Strech-n-grow Stretch-N-Grow, a fitness and nutrition program. Stretch-n-Grow offers exercising programs for kids from as young as 18 months to over seven years old. Each Stretch-n-Grow coach is a certified youth fitness specialist and has only one passion - to show our Stars an exciting time!
 
Music, interactive quality musical education for every age group. The programs are imbued with themes, activities, and curricula that are proven to stimulate development, augment school programs, and promote fun!
 
Science Quest
Science Quest,with over 25 years of real world science experience, Mr Jon brings a wealth facts and fun to excite, amaze and educate children.
Little Amigos, taught by a Little Amigos bilingual educator. Students are immersed in the Spanish language each week. Classes are focused on theme based activities with concentration on mastering developmentally apporpriate goals.

Giggle Bytes, quality computer education for young children. Students learn to use computers as a tool, develop specific age appropriate computer skills, and become safe, competent computer users.

The following classes can be added on and are fee based.


Abeka Bible Study is a special program designed using the biblical portions of the private school curriculum we utilize to teach our main curriculum components. This bible study class is conducted using a chapel study time with a specific scripture and special craft.  Information is sent home for parents to go over weekly helping insure the biblical teachings are reinforced.  

Bricks, Bytes, and Bots teach age appropriate building, engineering and construction skills using Duplo, LEGO and other materials, introduces students to laptop and tablet technology, as well as robotics lessons. 

 

Dance

Dance is a preschool dance program. Our dancers focus on a variety of styles throughout the year and we always encourage your little dancer to discover that having fun is most important! We use Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop to teach your child the fundamentals of dancing. All children enjoy our fun approach to dance and are excited about going to class every week!
